yellow paloverde, foothill paloverde or little-leaved palo verde (Cercidium microphyllum)

It is a shrub or small tree up to 8 m tall; the width of the crown is from 3.7 to 5.5 m, the leaves are pinnate and composed of 2.5 cm long, yellowish green which in dry season are deciduous (Losses). The trunk is up to 0.3 m in diameter, the branch is vertical, the bark is thin and photosynthetic, the roots grow on the surface and reproduce by seeds.

It is native to the southwestern United States in southeastern California and southern Arizona, and northwestern Mexico in Sinaloa, Sonora, and Baja California. The plant is usually on slopes and is one of the most common trees in the Sonora desert.

It is located along the boulevard of Islas del Mar
